The toolset built for ESPRIT, Mastercam, VCarve, LightBurn
Everything the laser, CNC and CAM users on VectoSolve have been asking for. Every machine format is included from the Starter plan up — there is no separate pack to buy.
25 conversions a month · unused ones roll over · every machine format included
Who this is for
Manufacturing engineers
You work with ESPRIT 2020, Mastercam X, or ArtCAM and the image-trace tools of your own software emit 50,000 polylines that your CAM cannot open. You need R12 DXF, outline-only output, and a live compatibility check before export.
CNC & laser shops
You run Vectric VCarve, Aspire, or LightBurn on a daily basis. Each customer logo arrives as a raster JPG. You need clean DXF with the right CAM-layer presets so your toolpath dialogs work in one click.
CAD-reference artists
You trace photographs into CAD (AutoCAD, Fusion 360, DraftSight) as a precision light-table for drawing, muraling, and mixed-media layout. You need outline-only, correct scale, and the ability to mark exactly what to keep.
What you get
The CAM Bundle is the full CAM feature suite that makes VectoSolve actually useful for legacy industrial software, and it is not sold separately: it comes with every plan, from Starter at 25 conversions a month for $49/yr, unused ones rolling over.
| Capability | Free preview | Pro ($129/yr) | Starter ($49/yr) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Conversions | 1 / day | 100 / month | 25 / month |
| Credits | — | 20 / month | 5 / month |
| SVG export | ✅ watermarked | ||
| DXF export (AutoCAD 2000) | |||
| DXF export R12 (Legacy) | |||
| Per-CAM target selector | |||
| CAD Reference preset | |||
| Real-world width | |||
| Live CAM compatibility analyzer | |||
| Shading Filter (edge-preserving) | |||
| Focus Regions (drag rectangle) | |||
| Click-to-point markers | |||
| Paint Mask brush | |||
| Auto-detect face features | |||
| Multi-DXF layered ZIP | |||
| Per-target import README | |||

Every feature on this table is included from the Starter plan up. Nothing is gated behind a tier — the difference is how many conversions a month you get. Pro is the better fit if you use the tool 10+ times per week.
Real workflow — manufacturing engineer, ESPRIT 2020
A US-based manufacturing engineer running ESPRIT 2020 on a legacy CAM setup was importing customer-supplied portraits into CAD as drawing references for mixed-media art layouts. Generic vectorizers produced 74,000-entity DXFs that crashed ESPRIT. After manually editing shadow lines out of each import, the workflow was taking 30-60 minutes per photo.
With the CAM Bundle workflow, the same photos now import in under two minutes:
- 1. Upload photo → dashboard/laser
- 2. Pick ESPRIT as CAM target (auto-sets R12, inch, no CAM-layer preset)
- 3. Turn on Shading Filter preprocess (flattens cheek shading, keeps lip lines)
- 4. Pick the CAD Reference preset (outline-only, sub-2,000 entities)
- 5. Paint a preserve mask around the features that matter (eyebrows, eyes, nostrils, lips)
- 6. Enter real-world width (5.5 inches)
- 7. Download DXF → File > Open in ESPRIT, lands at exact scale
"Wow! The feedback I sent last week is what shaped this. Everything I asked for is now in the tool."— Manufacturing engineer, ESPRIT 2020 user, US-based job shop
The features you actually need for CAM
R12 DXF + AutoCAD 2000
Pick R12 (AC1009) for ESPRIT, Mastercam, ArtCAM, older VCarve. AutoCAD 2000 (AC1015) for Fusion 360, modern VCarve, LightBurn. The CAM target dropdown sets both automatically per software.
CAM compatibility analyzer
Before you download, a live badge tells you how the DXF will behave on import: Simple, Medium, Heavy, or Extreme. One-click "Retry with CAD Reference" if the file is too dense.
Shading Filter
Edge-preserving bilateral + Sauvola adaptive threshold. Flattens smooth tonal gradients (cheek lighting, hair shadow) while keeping sharp features (lip lines, eyelashes) intact. Exactly what pros do in Photoshop, in one click.
Focus Regions + Paint Mask
Drag rectangles around detail zones, click-to-point for fast markers, or paint a freeform mask around the contours you want preserved. Everything outside the mask is dropped before tracing.
Auto-detect faces
MediaPipe BlazeFace runs in your browser, finds eyes, nose and mouth automatically, and generates High Detail crops of each. Zero clicks for the common portrait workflow.
Combined DXF + per-layer ZIP
Default download is a single DXF with silhouette + focus regions merged at correct scale and position. The ZIP option adds silhouette-only and per-region DXFs for users who want distinct toolpaths per layer.
Path dedup (byte-equal + geometric)
Two-pass dedup strips byte-equal duplicate paths and near-parallel fill-to-stroke outlines before DXF export. No more doubled silhouette lines that CAM cuts twice.
Per-target import README
Every ZIP ships a README.txt with import instructions for your chosen CAM target (ESPRIT / Mastercam / VCarve / LightBurn / Fusion 360). Copy-paste commands, no guessing.
