SVG for LaserPecker: Line-Engraving Files for LP4, LP5 and LX1
LaserPecker Design Space reads SVG, DXF and G-code natively — but Line Engraving only shines when the file carries true single-line paths, not hollow outlines. Convert any image here; the Single Line preset was built for exactly this machine's best trick.
Outline vs Single Line: the Difference You See on Metal
LDS gives you three vector modes — Line Engraving, Fill Engraving, Cutting. The file decides which ones work.
Line engraving wants centerlines
A normal trace outlines every stroke — the laser draws each line twice, like hollow bubble letters. The Single Line preset traces one path down the MIDDLE of each stroke: signatures and sketches engrave the way the pen drew them.
Bitmaps only fill
A JPEG or PNG can be fill-engraved as an image, but it cannot drive Line Engraving or Cutting — those follow vector paths. One conversion turns the same logo into all three modes.
Three formats, one geometry
Export SVG for direct LDS import, DXF when you want size-stable geometry, or G-code. Same clean paths in each container — pick whatever your workflow prefers.
