Questions shops ask
What files can I send?
Anything the customer gave you: JPG, PNG, a phone photo, a PDF, a scan, a screenshot or an old SVG. If a part cannot be recovered, such as text too small to read, we say so in the quote instead of guessing.
How much does a file cost?
It depends on the file: from $9 for a simple one-colour shape to $45 for CNC or plasma profiles with G-code. The quote is free and tells you the price before any work starts.
How fast do I get the files?
Free quote within one business day. The delivery date is on the quote. Need it sooner? Next business day is +$5 per file.
Do I pay before seeing anything?
No. You get a free quote, then a watermarked preview of the finished file. You pay only once you have seen it, by card or PayPal through Stripe, and then you download the clean files.
What if the file does not cut right?
Send us a photo or a screenshot of the problem. If a file we delivered does not run on your machine, we correct it at no charge until it does.
Does my customer ever see your name?
No. The delivered files carry no VectoSolve name, no metadata and no watermark; the watermark is only on the preview you check. We never contact your customers, and we sign an NDA on request.
How are the files made?
Prepared by our tracing engine with the settings your machine needs, then checked against your original before delivery. You see the result on the preview before you pay.
What is a shop plan?
A set number of files every month for a fixed monthly price, for shops with regular work. Any file up to Complex counts as one, a Production file counts as two. Unused files do not roll over.
