FAQ
How is this different from the sticker cut line generator?
The cut line generator handles one sticker: it traces the die-cut contour around a single design. This tool takes that same contour and builds the whole production sheet — your design tiled across a Cricut, Letter or A4 page, each copy with its own cut line, ready to print once and cut in one pass.
What does the Cricut preset mean?
Cricut's print-then-cut feature reads a printed registration box and cuts inside it; on US Letter paper the usable design area is about 6.75 × 9.25 inches. The preset keeps your whole sheet inside that area so nothing lands outside what the machine can cut.
Which file do I print and which do I cut?
Simplest workflow: import the Print & Cut SVG into your cutting software (Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio) and let it handle both printing and cutting. If you print separately — say on a dedicated photo printer — print the 300 DPI PNG and use the cut-lines-only SVG in the cutter.
Kiss cut or die cut?
The contours this tool generates work for both: a kiss cut (blade set to cut the vinyl but not the backing) produces a classic peelable sticker sheet, while a full-depth die cut separates each sticker completely. The cut depth is a machine setting, not a file property.
My design needs a transparent background first — where?
Run it through our background remover (one click), or vectorize it for infinitely sharp printing at any size. Both link below.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The layout, contour tracing and file exports all run in your browser.
