Why Switch from PngToSVG?
- Made for the images automatic tracing handles worst — a blurry screenshot, a small logo, a JPEG full of artifacts. VectoSolve redraws the shapes with AI instead of following every pixel
- Machine files from the same upload: Cricut multi-layer ZIP, LightBurn SVG, DXF, G-code, embroidery (DST, PES, JEF) and 3MF. PngToSVG converts to SVG
- PDF and EPS for print shops, PNG for previews
- A watermarked preview of your own image, free and without signup, before you decide
- When you need the file, plans start at $7.99/month, and unused conversions roll over

Frequently Asked Questions
Is PngToSVG really free?
Yes. As of November 4, 2026, pngtosvg.com says converting is completely free, with no signup, no watermark and no file limits. If its SVG works on your machine, use it. VectoSolve charges for downloads; it earns its place on the images a free tracer handles badly, and on machine formats.
Does PngToSVG work with Cricut?
Yes. Its FAQ says the SVG is layered by color and imports into Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio and Brother CanvasWorkspace, with optional registration marks for layered vinyl. VectoSolve also gives a Cricut multi-layer ZIP. The difference shows on the input: a clean PNG traces well anywhere, a blurry one does not.
Why does my converted SVG look jagged or blotchy?
A tracer follows the pixels it is given. On a small or blurry image the edges are already soft or stepped, and the tracer turns those steps into curves. Two fixes: start from a bigger, sharper image (upscaling first helps), or use a converter that redraws the shapes, like VectoSolve. Check the free preview at full zoom before you cut.
Can I turn the image into DXF, G-code or an embroidery file?
Not on PngToSVG, which converts to SVG. On VectoSolve the same image goes to DXF, G-code, embroidery files (DST, PES, JEF) or 3MF from the dedicated converters.
